Tourists wishing to visit India are normally granted a short-term tourist visa, normally granted for three or six months effective from the date of issue. Tourist visas are non-extendible and non-convertible. A Letter of undertaking on company letter head paper is required for company Directors / Executives / Consultants / Police officer / Armed services / Media Industry / Photographers / Actors / Artist etc. entering India for tourism. Non UK passport holders are required to provide Utility bill or bank statement one dated a year old and one recent, please send photo copies. Children under the age of 16 must proved a copy of there full birth certificate & a copy of both parents passports.

Suppression of facts or furnishing misleading/false information will result in denial of visa without assigning any reason . Please also check if you already hold a valid visa on the current passport before applying for a new visa, as the Visa fee once tendered is non-refundable and subject to change without notice. The Photographs submittedshould be taken against a plain white background only.
